Ipoteka bank OTP Group is proud to announce a large-scale initiative in support of an environmentally sustainable future for Uzbekistan.
Inspired by the spirit of the nationwide "Yashil Makon" (Green Nation) project, the bank’s employees have united their efforts to green the country and promote environmental values.
In line with the Presidential Decree of December 30, 2021, aimed at accelerating the greening of territories, Ipoteka Bank’s team organized a series of nationwide clean-up and tree-planting events, turning the idea into a real "green" movement.
In spring 2025, over 10,000 saplings were planted across various regions of Uzbekistan:
Geologichesky microdistrict, Karshi city and Kamashi district of Kashkadarya region: 2,000 fruit trees
Yangikurgan district, Namangan region: 3,800 poplar saplings
Avgonbog microdistrict, Kokand city: 550 poplar saplings
Navoi region (including Konimekh and Nurota districts): 2,500 desert plants and 2,000 mulberry saplings
Each tree planted is a step toward a healthier, greener, and more sustainable environment.
Ipoteka bank OTP Group views sustainable development as a vital part of its corporate strategy.
