The national emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an image of a rising sun over mountains, rivers and a flowering valley, surrounded by a wreath consisting of wheat ears on the right and cotton branches with opened cotton bales on the left. In the upper part of the emblem there is an octahedron, symbolizing the sign of approval of the republic, inside which there is a crescent with a star. In the center of the coat of arms is depicted the Humo bird with its wings open - a symbol of happiness and love of freedom. Below on the bow of the ribbon is a wreath, symbolizing the National flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the inscription "O'zbekiston".
