Who would have thought that this little girl, whose father was a teacher and whose mother was a simple village woman from the Khorezm region, having developed an entrepreneurial spirit from childhood, would grow up and become the head of a large enterprise.
Her interests prompted her, by resolution of the district khokim No. 406-k dated July 24, 2002, to found the private enterprise “Fayz”. Our entrepreneur, who started with 3 seamstresses, has now hired over 15 women. Although there are permanent workers, the number of seasonal workers and apprentices is expanding and growing. During the production process, in addition to everyday locally produced products, workwear headwear is also supplied in large quantities for employees of government organizations. It would not be an exaggeration to emphasize that there is not a resident in Khorezm who does not use its products.
Despite the fact that Gavkhar Matnazarova is 64 years old, she not only provides work for rural women and teaches them crafts, but also heads the “Craftswoman” association. The private enterprise Faiz, which she heads, has organized advanced training courses as part of the project “Supporting the employment of unemployed and underemployed women in the regions through the development of professional and entrepreneurial skills.” Those who successfully complete the courses are awarded certificates.
She is not only a businesswoman, a smart leader, but also a beloved mother of 3 children. Her children support their mother Gavhar Matnazarova in all areas, including digital marketing and business delivery services.
This entrepreneur, who managed to launch online sales, which is considered in demand today, was pleased to note that he is a member of the BETAKROR business club, introduced as part of the “Women in Business of Central Asia” program by JSCIB “Ipoteka Bank” and the European Bank for Reconstruction and development, and she regularly uses its non-financial services.
In order to take advantage of the opportunities provided to entrepreneurs, Gavhar Matnazarova will be financed as a result of the allocation of more than 10 preferential loans by the Khorezm regional branch of Ipoteka Bank in the period from 2005 to 2022. In the first years, the private enterprise “Fayz” started working with 2 old sewing machines; to date, JSCIB “Ipoteka Bank” of the Khorezm region has managed to purchase 40 high-performance machines as a result of a loan in the amount of 100 million soums.
Gavkhar Matnazarova was awarded the “Mehr-Sakhovat” badge, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 26, 2020, and the commemorative badge of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 24, 2021.
At 64 years old, Gavkhar Matnazarova, mother of 3 children and grandmother of 2 grandchildren, is a true source of inspiration for any woman who has shown that success can be achieved without any excuses if a clear goal is set.
