Ipoteka Bank OTP Group has been recognized as Bank of the Year 2025 in Uzbekistan by the international publication The Banker (part of the Financial Times Group). This award is one of the most prestigious in the global financial industry and is presented annually to banks that demonstrate sustainable financial performance, technological progress, and a significant contribution to societal development.

The Banker highlighted Ipoteka Bank OTP Group’s successful and large-scale transformation across three key areas:
— improving the quality of retail banking
— modernizing corporate banking services
— developing digital infrastructure
Ipoteka Bank OTP Group became the first bank in the country to offer bank insurance services, allowing clients to protect themselves against financial risks. The pilot loan insurance product, launched in November 2024, enabled the issuance of microloans totaling UZS 152.6 billion, with 62% of clients opting for insurance coverage.
Another milestone in the bank’s transformation was the large-scale upgrade of its technological infrastructure. Ipoteka Bank OTP Group launched a new main data center, implemented a modern data warehouse, and initiated a project to replace its core banking system.
Earlier, Ipoteka Bank OTP Group published its financial results for the first nine months of 2025, reporting a net profit of UZS 1.195 trillion and ROE of 20.4%, reflecting significant growth in profitability and the effective implementation of its transformation strategy.
