Clarification Regarding the Attempt to Access the Bank’s Working Materials

Ipoteka bank OTP Group is aware of publications circulating online claiming that the bank’s systems were hacked and data was leaked.

At this time, no signs of a breach of the bank’s systems have been identified. All banking services and products continue to operate normally.

According to the preliminary results of the review, the bank identified a limited incident related to an attempted access to an internal set of procurement documentation.

The bank’s information security teams promptly detected and prevented any further development of the incident.

At present, there is no confirmation of any leakage of customers’ personal data, bank card information, account details, or any other sensitive information. No threats to customers’ funds or to the stability of the bank’s services have been identified.

The bank continues its internal review and additional monitoring together with relevant specialists.

The security of customer data and the reliability of banking services remain our highest priority. Following the completion of the review, the bank will provide additional information through its official communication channels if necessary.
