On the 24th of January 2023, Moody’s international rating agency took rating actions on Uzbek banks. Particularly, according to the report Ipoteka-bank’s long-term foreign and local-currency deposit ratings were uplifted to “Ba3”, with a “Stable” outlook.
The rise in ratings reflects Moody's assessment that Ipoteka-bank's new ratings followed the sovereign rating action on Uzbekistan and considers the strong government support to the Bank.
Moreover, the agency’s analysts specify that Ipoteka-bank’s outlook will remain stable and supported by a broadly stable credit profile in the next 12-18 months.
