Ipoteka bank OTP Group has published financial results for the first half of 2026 in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), demonstrating another period of strong and sustainable growth.
Ipoteka bank OTP Group reported a net profit of UZS 1.24 trillion (equivalent to USD 102.7 million), representing a 43% increase compared to the same period last year. The results reflect the Bank's consistent execution, successful transformation, and strong operational performance. According to National Accounting Standards, Ipoteka bank OTP Group has ranked as Uzbekistan's most profitable bank for the second consecutive quarter.

Ipoteka bank OTP Group's total equity increased by 20% year-on-year to UZS 9.5 trillion (equivalent to USD 787.5 million). Operating profit reached UZS 1.39 trillion (equivalent to USD 115 million), marking a 37% increase compared to the first half of 2025.

Alongside strong financial performance, Ipoteka bank OTP Group continued to improve key customer experience metrics. During the first half of 2026, the Bank became the leader in Uzbekistan's banking sector by Net Promoter Score (NPS), a key indicator measuring customers' willingness to recommend the Bank to others. The NPS reached 66%, an increase of 24 percentage points compared to the previous year.
Operational service quality indicators also continued to improve. Mystery Shopping reached 91.8%, while Mystery Calling achieved 90.7%, demonstrating that customers increasingly recognize improvements in service quality, speed, and the overall customer experience across the Bank's branches and contact center.
At the OTP Group level, strong operating performance continued in the first half of 2026, with profit after tax reaching EUR 1.56 billion, ROE at 21%, and the total capital adequacy ratio improving to 20.3%.
Recently, Ipoteka bank OTP Group announced the appointment of Ádám Szentpéteri as Chairman of the Management Board, effective 27 July 2026. Since joining the Bank in 2023 as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Head of Strategy & Finance, Mr. Szentpéteri has led the Bank's transformation programme.
