New loan repayment rules: part of your account balance will be protected
Starting from April 15, 2026 for Uzcard cards and from April 20, 2026 for Humo cards, new rules for loan repayment deductions will come into force.
Key changes:
Protected balance
A minimum amount equal to 3 basic calculation units (BCU) will be retained in the account, unless a higher threshold is установлен.
Deduction limitation
Loan repayments can only be deducted from the amount exceeding the protected balance.
Social payments
Funds received as social payments (alimony, benefits, etc.) are protected — no loan deductions will be made from these funds.
These changes help preserve essential funds in the account and make the use of banking services more secure and predictable.
