With regard to the circumstances described in the publication titled “Subscribers’ Appeal”, published on 10 July 2026 on the “Soyalar xabari” Telegram channel, we would like to provide the following information.
The responsible employees of the Head Office of Ipoteka Bank reviewed the situation described in the appeal.
Based on the results of the review, it was established that the loan agreement entered into with the client complied with the requirements of applicable legislation. The agreement clearly set out the key lending terms, including the loan amount, loan term and annual interest rate, and was duly signed by both parties.
The client’s outstanding debt arose as a result of the failure to make payments within the deadlines established in the repayment schedule under the loan agreement.
In addition, the client was informed of the available options for settling the outstanding debt, and relevant proposals were provided.
At the same time, specific information concerning the loan agreement, accounts, transactions carried out and the client’s outstanding debt constitutes banking secrecy in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Banking Secrecy”. Pursuant to Articles 3, 5 and 6 of the Law, the Bank is not entitled to publish or otherwise disclose such information through publicly available sources. Therefore, this official statement does not disclose specific amounts or contractual details relating to the client.
The Bank carefully reviews each appeal in accordance with the established procedures and pays particular attention to safeguarding the rights and legitimate interests of its clients.
